The Billy Pierce Project

With the many blogs I read, each collector has a specific route they go - working on smaller subsets, teams sets or a particular player. Billy Pierce is my direction. I can't say I was a huge fan until the father of the girl I was dating (at the time) said to me, while sitting in church, "You know that's Billy Pierce over there, right?". Actually, no I did not. Billy is a south side resident, number retired from the ChiSox and a nice guy.

My focus is to get the complete Pierce collection issued during his playing career. Best I can tell, I'm working on a group that starts in 1951 and ends in 1964 (Billy as a Giant is just wrong). My current progress stands with the cards in bold in my hand (with photo links):
